One of the selling points of cats is that they can pretty much take care of themselves. You put out a clean litterbox, a bowl of food, and a bowl of water and you can take off for a weekend. No problem. Cats are the perfect pet for the lazy person… unless you want to play with a cat. Then you need to wave ribbons around or shoot laser beams across the living room floor. Tough work!
